The Derby Sax Quartet will perform a programme of music arranged for four saxophones, covering a broad range of genres, styles and festive tunes. The setlist includes classical works, jazz standards, swing, rock, and popular music.
Formed in 2008, the group consists of experienced saxophonists with backgrounds in big bands and classical ensembles. Their concerts highlight the versatility of the saxophone family—soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone—and offer a varied musical experience suitable for a wide audience."
