Kirsty Corbett

Kirsty Corbett is a Broadcaster, Creative Entrepreneur, Designer and passionate advocate for the Arts, who has called Derby home for nearly 20 years.

She presents weekend afternoons (12pm-4pm) on Derby ONE and hosts Arts & Toast, a podcast celebrating the art, music, dance and drama scene across the East Midlands.

Alongside broadcasting, Kirsty is an Assistant Producer with Mark Robert Petty Presents, helping bring West End talent to audiences beyond London.

Her career has taken a wonderfully unexpected route, from building a small chain of highstreet photography studios to designing an "Accessible Hoodie" for cancer patients to finding her current place in broadcasting.

Kirsty loves interviewing especially chatting with people & discovering their stories. She’s passionate about championing creativity, connecting people and making the Arts more accessible. She is always happy to chat, collaborate and, ideally, do it over homemade cake.
