Kirsty Corbett speaks with Evie Pickerill and Morgan Brind as Derby Arena prepares to stage Snow White for Christmas 2026 — the first time the classic tale has been Derby’s panto since 2008.
Evie, one of the leading faces of CBeebies, steps into the role of Snow White, bringing her trademark warmth, energy and connection with young audiences. A LIPA graduate with a string of stage credits — including SHOUT at the Edinburgh Fringe and pantos across the UK — she talks about the magic of panto, why she loves performing for families, and what she’s most excited to bring to Derby this year.
She’s joined by Morgan Brind, Derby’s award‑winning Dame, panto producer and co‑founder of Little Wolf Entertainment, who returns with his outrageous frocks and festive mischief. Morgan shares insight into building this year’s show, the scale of the production, and why Snow White is set to be their “biggest and best yet”.
The cast also features West End talent Katie Paine as the Wicked Queen, plus returning Derby favourites Kristian Cunningham and Roddy Peters.
With spectacular sets, lavish costumes, slapstick comedy and a full range of accessible performances — BSL interpreted, audio described, captioned and relaxed — Snow White promises to be a standout Christmas treat for families across the region.
The show runs from 4–31 December 2026, with tickets priced £23–£38, including concessions and family tickets.
