Elliot Holman is joined by Terrianne on release day of her brand‑new single ‘Midlands Girl’, an energetic, uplifting pop track celebrating her roots and the community that shaped her music career.
Derby‑born and now London‑based, Terrianne talks about how the song was inspired by her move to the capital — including the moment she realised that chatting to strangers on the tube wasn’t quite the done thing. Midlands Girl is her reminder that “there ain’t no place like home”, and a thank‑you to the Midlands community that has supported her from the very beginning.
On release day, Terrianne is set to perform to 17,000 people at Trent Bridge Stadium during The Hundred - a huge moment for an independent artist and a milestone she describes as both surreal and exciting.
